Study Right is an ever-expanding education organisation which specialises in small group tuition for students between the ages of 8 and 18. We have launched several charitable initiatives in numerous countries in order to meet our social goals as well as expanding from 1 centre to 3 in the last year; thanks to a motivated and disciplined team.

While our emphasis is on the core subjects of maths, English and science, Study Right works closely with students to help guide them through to their long-term goals as well as their academic ones.

 

Vacancy description:

  • Some key responsibilities and duties will include:
  • Ensuring safeguarding of all students in all capacities
  • Logging the activities of the centre and following all policies and procedures, including maintaining OFSTED compliancy
  • Processing and responding to all enquiries from parents
  • Handling student absence
  • Liaising with the center manager to ensure high calibare lessons and undertaking quality assurance procedures
  • Ensuring tutors continue to progress towards collective goals
  • Offering guidance to parents and students for lessons required
  • Writing student reports
  • Keep centre tidy
  • Ensure centre runs smoothly
  • Help out where else required
  • Teach maths, English and science (maximum of 5 students to 1 tutor)
  • Create resources and teaching material
  • Manage students

Desired qualifications:

GCSEs at grades C/5 or above (or equivalent) in maths and English.


Working week
Wednesday - Friday, 12:30 - 20:30, Saturday, 10:00 - 19:00 and Sunday, 10:00 - 17:00. Each day includes a 1-hour unpaid lunch break.
Total hours per week: 40.00

 

Salery
£200.00 PW


Future prospects: 

Employment after apprenticeship and further training.


Things to consider:

DBS check will be required (£60 taken away from first pay check for this and is returned after 12 months of employment).
We will also require them to be 18+ (due to the shifts worked).
