This company is a natural and engineered stone supplier to trade customers as well as architects, designers & homeowners. They store vast range of marble, granite, travertine and onyx in huge warehouses in Park Royal, London. Besides supplying the UK, they also provide their service and products to international commercial and private developers.

Vacancy Description

Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office

Direct visitors to the appropriate person or directly to the warehouse

Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls

Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)

Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email

Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries

Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook)

Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock

Help with administration work and sales department workflow

Maths and English Level 2 Functional Skills*

Desired Skills

Work experience as a receptionist or similar role an advantage but not compulsory  

Proficiency in Microsoft Office - word, excel, outlook

Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)

Professional attitude and appearance

Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise

Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize task
