A local Surveying and Architectural practice is seeking a Admin Assistant to assist their growing team and start a career in a creative/ progressive organisation with a clear career path. The successful candidate will be working alongside an existing Senior Office Admin to compliment the delivery of customer service and the delivery of projects.

Vacancy description:

  • Being the first point of contact to respond to incoming telephone calls
  • Referring new business leads to a Director or Senior Management
  • Recording details on HubSpot (CRM)
  • Checking and ordering stationary
  • Filing; photocopying; printing, scanning and binding documents as required
  • Filing documents electronically
  • Monitoring & actioning admin e-mails
  • Opening & distributing incoming post
  • Updating client and supplier contact details
  • Ensuring that project reference folders are kept updated
  • Assisting with Planning application follow ups and having discussions with clients
  • Negotiating with Local Authority Planning Officers
  • Assisting with Social Media strategy and business marketing.
  • Invoicing works and invoice chasing

Desired skills:

  • Good communication and telephone manner
  • Competent on Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc)
  • Able to deal with Windows software
  • Touch typing to a good standard (50wpm)

  • Confident to handle new challenges
  • Willing to learn new skills and grow as a person
  • Can do attitude and a positive demeanour

Working week:

  • Monday - Friday
  • 9:30am - 5:30pm
