Apprentice will report to the Finance Manager/Director of Operations. To perform tasks assigned by the Finance Team To undertake aspects of preparing, maintaining and communicating reliable financial information To assist in the preparation of recording school trips and clubs for billing To assist with fee collection and credit control The administration of processing and certifying of invoices received for payment & filing The operation and reconciliation of the school Petty Cash The processing for banking of funds received and ensuring income is recorded accordingly To be a contact for general finance queries and to liaise with suppliers and contractors as required The administration of bank reconciliations The operation and reconciliation of the school cafe and restaurant income To work with the Finance team in processing staff and volunteers DBS checks and employee records To monitor the quality of purchases and make recommendations to ensure the school is receiving best value for money Experience of SAGE or other accounting systems would be desirable but not essential. Good knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office products such as Excel and Word Excellent knowledge of IT systems and ability to use IT to enhance service of delivery of administration Must be numerate, pays attention to detail and demonstrates analytical skills
Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5pm
£350 per week
£ 4,200 per annum
