OCCUPATIONAL PROFILE

This course is suitable for those who wish to enter into or upskill to develop their career in management. Team leading and supervising skills are transferrable to almost every industry.  A Team Leader Supervisor is a natural leader.  They manage people, operations, projects and resources to deliver tangible outcomes for their company. A successful team leader will be in charge of determining a team's direction and utilising their teams' best qualities to achieve their employer's organisational goals.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

■ 5 GCSEs (A*- C)

Level 2 English and Maths can be included in the programme if not achieved before starting the course.

COURSE OVERVIEW AND LEARNING

The course is delivered on-site by an allocated personal tutor and tailored to induvial business needs.

Learners will gain an understanding of how organisational strategy is developed and acquire the skills to manage, plan and monitor workloads and resources to deliver operational plans.

The programme will cover organisational governance and compliance and how to deliver Value for Money.

They will study various approaches to customer and stakeholder relationship management, including emotional intelligence, managing conflict and how to facilitate cross-team working to support the delivery of organisational objectives.

They will learn to communicate effectively and how to chair meetings and present to teams and management.
