OCCUPATIONAL PROFILE
The Leader in Adult Care will guide and inspire care teams and will develop and implement a values-based culture at a service or unit level. They may be responsible for business development, financial control, organisational resilience and continuity as well as for managing risk and leading on organisational change This role has a significant element of leadership, whether with other care workers and networks or in leading the service itself.

Level 2 English and Maths included in the programme if not previously achieved

COURSE OVERVIEW AND LEARNING
The course is delivered on-site by an allocated personal tutor and tailored to suit the place of work.
Learners will acquire the skills and knowledge to lead, guide and direct teams at the front line of care delivery to ensure safe, effective, caring and responsive services to people's needs.
They will also gain an in-depth understanding of regulation and regulatory compliance of the care given alongside their organisation's values providing guidance and direction at the front line of care delivery.
