LEAD ADULT CARE - LEVEL 3
As a Lead Adult Care Worker, you will make a positive difference to those faced with physical, practical, social, emotional or intellectual challenges. Lead Adult Care Workers have responsibility for providing supervision, frontline leadership and guidance for others. They may work in residential or nursing homes, domiciliary care, day centres or some clinical healthcare settings. As well as covering Lead Adult Care Workers, this standard also includes Lead Personal Assistants who can work at this senior level.

COURSE OVERVIEW AND LEARNING:
The course is delivered on-site and tailored to the care environment either 1:1 or in small groups by a personal trainer who will provide training for ongoing assessments, for example, workplace observations, meetings and gathering information for the End Point Assessment.
Learners will acquire the knowledge to exercise judgement in a range of workplace situations and take appropriate action to support and safeguard individuals to maintain their independence, dignity and control.
